MOSCOW, Jul 30 (PRIME) -- International rating agency S&P Global Ratings has affirmed the rating of Russian diamond miner ALROSA at BBB- with a Stable outlook, it said in a statement on Friday.
“The company is owned by the federal and regional governments, which are strongly represented on its board. This, combined with its governance set up, constrains the rating on ALROSA at the level of the sovereign rating on Russia. We therefore affirmed our BBB- ratings on ALROS,” the agency said.
The agency also revised stand-alone credit profile of ALROSA to bbb from bbb-.
